2.Top Summer Flick: Rise of the Planet of the Apes

From the moment i saw the first trailer for this movie i knew it was going to be a great movie. This was a very strong, thought provoking movie. This leads you to believe could this really happen if we keep playing god could we eventually invent our own demise?
No disrespect to James Franco but Caesar made this movie. The animation for the apes was so realistic it gave you chills. Caesar humble beginnings to growing pains when he develops an intellect that rivals humans makes the viewers feel sympathy for him. All he wanted was for his fellow apes to be enlightened as well and free from their human captors. This movie was leaps and bounds better than the adaption of Planets of the apes starring Matt Damon. I would love to see them continue with this series.
